What are you watching?

Bonkers…really great…dark, twisted and hilarious. Only 4 episodes so packed full. There’s a US version with david tennent which was longer and pretty bland

Nighty Night is always worth revisiting too. Infinitely quotable. Shame about Season 2.

Really late on this but recently started watching GLOW, wasn’t really expecting much but it’s really good, great writing & cast especially Alison Brie & Marc Maron.

I understand, it was like Goggle box in our house, shouting at the TV.

Chuck D on The Great Songwriters on Sky Arts.

Home for Christmas is worth a look… Comedy series from Norway…

Started this last night. Three episodes in and hooked. My wife was working and then alseep whilst it was on so told her she must watch it. Excellent :ok_hand:

The Danish film Another Around is worth a watch. It’s about a bunch of teachers trying to keep a constant level of alcohol in their blood. There’s a fun scene with The Meters - Cissy Strut.

Its magnificent, I’m hooked. Chilling, atmospheric, sinister. The creeping dread is tangible.

Also, great coats and nautical wear!

Yeah some of those hooded jackets the crew are wearing are blinding - and that furry garment the Inuit girl is wearing looks toasty.

Deutschland 89 - not the the most sophisticated or believable script but entertaining all the same

What we call ‘Heavy Dub’ in our house.
Similar to Tiger King in the sense that just when you think things can’t get worse, they do. Much.
One of those dramas that’ll haunt you for years. Superbly done.

Shout out for Unforgotten on ITV, the station for crime drama fans. Very well written (Chris Lang), rock solid acting, mining the past of the 70s, 80s and 90s in a way that will appeal to many of a certain age on here! 4th series maintains the quality so far.
