Was going through @Piers charts on Juno and this popped up. Both sides excellent but Tom’s by Two just shades it. Dubbed out balearic magic.
Dangerous to go through Piers’ charts if you’re on a budget.

This forgotten Balearic gem from Eddie Ruscha and Thomas Bullock (Rub’n’Tug)
Yeah quality. I’ve seen it popping up again in recent years. Slightly regret returning the Bent lp to HMV at the time cos I was skint and had most of the tracks on 12” already.
checking out Shawn Lee’s GPS Band, new album “Lost”,
tunes might be a bit generic but it sounds really good, has a kraut 70s jazzfunk vibe over it:
Perfect record.
Another lovely, sunny, peaceful Spring morning so listening to this whilst reading a good book about Syd Barrett
I need this french fusion thing with a lovely reggae undertone:
Proper gearlist as well:
Synthesizer [Yamaha DX 7, Elka “Rhapsodie”], Electric Organ [Electone Yamaha ME 50], Electronic Drums [Roland TR 505], Effects [Melos Tape Echo Chamber, Yamaha Digital Echo Chamber, Yamaha Digital Reverb]
Love when its included on Discogss
Had the 1BTN 10th birthday celebrations on all day. Top tuneage starting this morning with Mickey Jukes, just had 3 hours of Steve KIW making a one-off return and now Leggy Reggae sounding sweet in the Moroccan sunshine.
New version to me. From a query by Neil.Parnell on FB.
According to Trevor Jackson, this is the original demo version by Lynn Goldsmith, Robert Palmer and possibly Sting
Yes true, they released it a few months before the other (better) version on a UK 12”. I remember I bought it from some mve basement years ago without realising it was what it was when I bought it. I like it!
