Their signature sound at this point is unmistakable, but this new outing still manages to sound like an evolution of that. Excited to hear more.

edit: odd coincidence to the above sentence - when moving from the first to second record, i opened up the gatefold (which apparently i have not done since it was new) and a valentines’ note from my ex girlfriend was hidden inside. from 1998. and yes, it was a “love you forever” kind of note. lol.

Recently rediscovered the Amplified Heart album, forgotten how good it is.
An almighty stampede for the two acoustic gigs that EBTG are playing at the MOTH Club in Hackney, only 300 or so available and they went in minutes.
