Been following TP for a long while -first the mixes in podcast form, then the site and kept hovering over the “Join Forum” button and finally decided to come on board. Hi all
I’m Erik out of Santa Cruz in California. Been collecting records for 10 years or so and have been going by the name Rik Vinegar/Rikki Downstairs (for the headier/more techno leaning stuff). My friends and I throw a party called Tide Swing and have booked quite a range of DJs including Heels & Souls, Solar (of Sunset Sound System), Ddwy, and many more underappreciated local acts from San Francisco. Doing a free day party with our Danley rig on the Santa Cruz pier/wharf this weekend and very excited to play some spaced out balearica to kick things off before our friend Miagma’s live hardware set.
Been a fan of TP for a while and have many copies of Record mag on the coffee table, yet never realized there was a forum until I looked up some tips on setting up my RE-202 as an FX send for our parties.
Anyways, stoked to be here
