Great track indeed! Spliff was the backing band of Nina Hagen
Currently listening to Kid Loco’s DJ Kicks mix, on this lazy Sunday morning/afternoon, which reminded me how good this is
Disclaimer, I love Innovative Communication.
A bit obvious maybe, but so good:
Axxess was Christopher Franke and the boss of Lamborghini, I think possibly a vanity project.
Got to put a bit of Klaus in, also features Harald Grosskopf on drums

@joeblackcircles I remember reading about the Lamborghini guy and his Lambo custom synth in one of the 80s synth mags:
Love IC too but bought so much rubbish just because it was on IC with those gorgeous sleeves. Quiet Force and some of the Mergener/Weisser albums come to mind. Pot luck back then though.
IC faves would be:
Double Fantasy
Software - island sunrise
Mind over matter
Richard Wahnfried - Time Actor, Tonwelle
Dancing Fantasy, Midnight Blvd, California Grooves
Megabyte, Powerplay, Go For It (yeah I know)
There are others in this forum that may be better (?), but this is the one that started it all off for me and made me want to jet straight off to Ibiza! One of those visits coincided with Euro 2000 and I went to. German bar with my German mate and was the only Englishman present watching England beat Germany 1.0!
The Germans were very gracious in defeat and I will never forget that, I even got a few drinks bought! Not sure it would have been quite the same experience if it had been a reverse situation and I was a lone German in an English bar, but in Ibiza ANYTHING is possible!
Forgot about this beauty when I posted yesterday, these two are my favourites but most of the album is as good. Check out Mr Schneider cracking up in the second track, gets me every time!
A fave IC/KS record imho overlooked, excellent pressing, gorgeous presentation, and this one in particular
Just listened to this motorik masterpiece
Rheinita - La Düsseldorf (1978)
Why do you have 4 copies of E2E4? Is it so that you can extend it?
Excellent synth work in this pop tune.
This is very nice too, from Frank Duval, together with a picture of the man as he’s a very cool looking guy:
A couple of great borderline comedy records - Captain Starlight, of course:
and also Hot Blood, as already featured on the Halloween thread:
Ha!
The first copy I found was not in the best condition so I picked up a better one later.
Then in 1995 it got reissued so I bought a brand new copy.
The 2016 reissue I kept mainly for the sleeve notes.
