There’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. Those compilations were ubiquitous at every afters for a while. Those and Reactivate.
Track haai played at convenanza, about 3 hours into her set. It followed a period where she played a couple of bassline type tracks then brought this track in, and changed the vibe,Completely slowed down almost ambient with a partial female vocal wafting in and out that sounded to me like Whitney Houston, was a real moment in the set.would love to know what it was if that sounds familiar to anyone.

Great effort! Pretty much nailed the vibe of the backing track but not the one unfortunately. The vocal was more melodic riffing than any actual words. Lovely track that though, thanks

Took Ur advice @del and asked, haai confirmed it was Whitney Houston I will always you. no info disclosed on whether it was an edit/remix or a mix on the fly with the isolated vocals over the ambient tune

Yeah found that demo, doesn’t sound great, bit cheesy, the main vocal was much less intrusive and it never actually made it into the I will always love u bit when she played it.
