I proposed to my ex wife when I was a couple of years younger than you. It was during a NYE night out with a big group of our friends (everyone knew that I was going to propose except the ex of course). Unbeknownst to me, she had sourced a couple of bumbles as a surprise, which turned out to be ketamine and not MDMA, and I ended up having to propose, at the bells, in crowds of my pals and strangers feeling like I was a floating, disembodied head :laughing: I didn’t take another pill for nearly a decade after that.

You know the famous trip when Rampling / Holloway etc went to Ibiza and brought acid house / balearic back to the UK (lets not open that can of worms) - I just read that Gilles Peterson was also on the trip but didn’t take an E. If this is true imagine if he had. Acid jazz would have really gone somewhere different… Or would Gilles have just been a raver…
