Who is going to that place and thinking its good?
Sheeple
Nickodemus is doing the Formentera Jazz Fest this week which might be good
In a weird way it reminds me of the Northern chrome and carpet nite spots of my teens. People eating chicken in a basket next to the dance floor.
you mean" a bit beluga"
Young lad at work has just come back from his first ever trip to Ibiza.
Went on his own.
For 18 days.
All-inclusive - £6k
Hired a car for the whole duration, but only used it for 3 days.
One morning he woke up on a beach on Formentera and has no idea how he got there.
Lost his passport.
Despite going all-inclusive he racked up another £6.5k on his credit card (including £2k on several bottles of vodka).
Ouch.
Fckn hell. I’ve heard similar stories but that is up there… I was there solo in march think I spent €300 … flight and accommodation was €280…
Even more impressive than that time I did a 15€ bottle of sambuca in shot form at the Es Vive which cost me £420
Bring back chicken in a basket. Height of sophistication when I was a lad.
The first track played at the new UNVRS apparently. Great start. I can only imagine it went downhill from here …
Yikes
If he was there on his own and dropping silly money on bottles of vodka I suspect he may be a bit of a twat?
Nah, he’s alright. He bumped into a mate, and there was a minimum spend, so he just got absolutely banjaxed
Is this actually true? How do you know that? : )
Fuck me 12k! I’d be heartbroken!
A good friend was the Concierge (wink wink) there up till it changed hands just before The COVID. We would stay across the road and pop in for drink and usually some sherbet. It was a great place for an evening
According to …
The Soundtrack
Dutch selector Carista had the honour of pressing play on the very first track ever played inside [UNVRS] – Tornado Wallace’s “Bitter Suite (Symphony Mix)” – a moment that felt ceremonial. From there, the tempo climbed: Ahmed Spins , Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami and a euphoric headline set by Michael Bibi .
Wowza I spent less than that backpacking around South America for 9 months!
Amazing. Thank you. I mean… At least it’s us
