Willie is an ace DJ, worth going for him alone.

ago, would have been a cracker

So, did someone go to Harvey’s opening yesterday night? How was it?!

Going to Formentera for a night in a few weeks for my missus 50th.

Anyone recommend a good restaurant? If I fuck this up I might be single by mid October.

S’Abeurada de Can Simonet - great local spot in Carrer del Pla del Rei Sant Frances…

EDIT: appears to have closed in 2023 :frowning:

I’ll say from experience that Juan y Andrea is spendy AF and full of yacht types, and while the seafood is very good, I’m not sure it was worth €500 for 3 of us. There was 2 decent bottles of plonk in there too mind you.

Surely some better value places I’m sure…

I know the family who run the Rocabella (Es Pujols) and it’s pretty down to earth (standard Spanish grub). Sea is lovely there too, the main USP for me. Worth checking evening times out of season though

Yeah, I was going to suggest JyA too, but haven’t been in over 18 years and checked their website earlier and it’s now €150 min spen per person!

I imagine it’s now also full.of the worst kind of people.

In 2019 we walked by this place and stopped to look at a menu - big tourist trap vibes. Looking at their website they appear to be owned by LVMH, always a bad sign.

Agree mate, that PP price will be before drinks etc. Wild prices!

Have booked a car from a local firm we’ve used before. Casa Maca for anniversary dinner for me and Mrs Chris. Other than that, haven’t booked much food wise. Sta Gertrudis alway good early evening for those cheese and ham rolls in the cafe in the wee square (can’t remember the name!) and a wander, and Portinax is somewhere we like to drive to. Beyond that, Harvey on 16th September and lying on a lounger by the pool for 9 nights.

Ibz town, dirty food in Pinocho (every year) and drunk as fuck in La Bodega with their ‘family measures’

Also thinking Morales at Pikes on the Wed after Harvey. Seriously though fellow TP’s. It’s gonna be ludicrous, no? That floor is tight as is. My thinking is it’s a free list so nothing lost…

I am going to Harvey’s closing on the 23rd and will stay for around one week. Looks like I’m going to play poolside at Pikes on the 25th and then at the Standard Hotel on the 26th. It would be nice to meet some fellow TP forum members
