I had to stop taking it, I was waking up most mornings feeling like I’d spent the last few hours living out a series of bizarre lynchian episodes.
5htp used to give me really vivid dreams/nightmares when I took it before bed, had to stop taking it.
I take magnesium every night and definitely feel that my sleep has improved since doing so, probably been 3 years or so now, no side effects for me. I take this natural one of it’s any use to anyone
Nearly PB’d my park run time today on a hot but flat run at 22:28
Not / well only semi boasting as my usual course is 2 laps somewhere different & for all 1st lap I & wonder if I can finish & should stop through anxiety
A few months ago I broke my own rule of never running to catch public transport and slipped/fell on a wet street, fracturing my shoulder. As it healed it seemed to get more painful so I took myself to physio and was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Upon researching this condition I went into a bit of a depression. anybody who has had it will no why - such a long painful recovery. I wanted to get further info and so I went to my GP. He sent me to get an ultrasound and luckily for me the results came back as bursitis, not frozen shoulder. Not sure why I’m writing this here - maybe as a warning not to run for a bus on a rainy street, or maybe as advice to get a second opinion when you’re facing a worrying condition. Oh, and make sure you do whatever exercises your physio gives you1
All good advice there.
Keepimg my greek holiday sea swimming streak of 30 min a day
Now reward of cold mythos & holiday treat of a Marly light
I’ve had it. Not only is it painful, it’s also very restricting in terms of movement. Physio didn’t help. In the end I Chat GPT’d it and followed some exercises with a resistance band and a wall. Sorted it all out in a few weeks.
Had my prostate examined yesterday. As fun as it sounds. The joys of middle age.
Now waiting on results of urine tests. When you hand it over to the receptionist and she fumbles the pass and it scatters over the floor into the waiting room. FML.
A pish reception.
All jokes aside - I hope it all goes fine. I need to do the same and have put it off.
Had mine out 18 months ago. Fingers crossed for you
Said it was normal but maybe slightly inflamed. Back on another course of antibiotics now.
That sounds very promising. Glad to hear it
Never jump off the back of a moving routemaster bus in London either. Trying to look cool and then the bus was going faster than you thought and looking like a dick, flat on your face. Sort of thing you only do once
Worth it for a finger up the bum though.
I mean yeah I can’t lie, I normally pay for that plus drugs ![]()

the Bartlett backlash…
he gives off proper sociopath vibes
I watched one of his podcasts out of curiosity and it was incredible. He spent an hour saying absolutely nothing of substance. It truly is an artform. So many words, such little said.
Bartlett is a 100% certified whopper and grifter extraordinaire.
I do love my Whoop though ![]()
You saying you’re a whooper?
