Ah nice mate, we’re very close in Woodbury. Might be around but also might be in working in Cornwall using parents for childcare while I work (obvs i’m very organised). Just checked and I have your number so I’ll send you some local tips anyway…

Had a weekend in Margate last year
Really liked it but ‘interesting vibe’
1/3 Art folk for Turner mixed with ex London tossers who moved when remote work became possible & were in a Guardian article about it / 1/3 uber alternative who have a vintage clothes stall once a week at craft mkt (inc a lot of the kids of 1st lot) / 1/3 long term locals parking mobility scooter outside Spoons at 11
There was an ace looking Afro music festival at that place near station - the kids all down from London looked like loving it. Wished I tried to get in
Stayed at AirBnB on row of 3 story georgian (?) houses next to station
Ours was a big rental that had been a hotel for travelling builders rest were a poshish hotel / a massive posh house / converted into 17 flats
Basically a good summary of UK coastal towns
Great pubs & I lost or left my mates as where we were was too boring & peaking a bit, ended up in a bar ( I think gay ) near front dancing to Relight My Fire ( Dan Hartman not Take That) which is a very good thing
