I’m in Swansea but have been coming over the bridge for parties your way for years. You lot do it better, my mates are far too sensible these days. Last one was a real nice small thing in Warminster. Always a bit more exciting having to put the effort in to travel too

Bristol in the house over here. Used to run a little record shop back in the day, partied at at the usual Bristol places, Lakota, Thekla (Fruity Antics etc). Through lockdown been doing a bit on Mixlr for Disco Dinner FM with Mike Shawe, Jimmy Twin, Barry Guffy & Paulo Fulci.
Bournemouth massive are pals too - We had a guest mix on DD from Chris Wheatley - top bloke -and pre lockdown Miche came down to do Hot Buttered Soul. Probably the last party I went to - was a banger

Looking forward to heading down to Plymouth again, had a few good nights out at hanging gardens. Need to check out jacks cafe!!

It’s certainly got a strong sense of its own identity, having said that I grew up in Manchester and moved here in ‘96 so by that standard Bristol is positively humble 
I grew up in Taunton and ran the Hijacker nights in town from 2000-02 before moving to Manchester. Great nights and many had in Bristol too.
Get on! Any thoughts on moving back to the southwest? Maybe not Taunton tho… I lived just outside Bridgewater for abit, not the nicest of towns. The Quantocks and the North Somerset coast are lovely tho
Yeah I couldn’t wait to get out of Taunton, as soon as I could I was out of there. Not a nice place, ultimately. Moved to London in 2010 after nearly a decade in Manchester. Moved backed to Manchester in 2017 and no regrets! (Perhaps this should be entered on the other thread!)
