Always enjoyed this record, great for mornings…
Film is great too if you like old surf flicks, in fact it’s a stone cold classic…
No, dont know that one but I shall check it out, thanks for the tip.
Not watched it for a good few years, The Big Blue was a favourite and loved the soundtrack. Still have a fondness for it… though might have dated a little.
Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor always hit it out of the park. The Social Network soundtrack blew me away and the recent score Soul was fantastic.
Been obsessed with Italian flicks and soundtracks the past couple of years. This is a huge fave.
I think the best soundtrack experience in the cinema I’ve had was Jóhann Jóhannsson’s score for Arrival. So otherworldly and unique. And really really loud. Brilliant.
It was made even better when he did a Song Exploder for that track explaining the recording process.
RIP Jóhann - I would love to hear his rejected score for Blade Runner 2049.
I had forgotten how full on it is. Menacingly intense. Watched it with my 9 year old recently. Blew her mind.
‘Reflections’ is the business!
City of God.
Whole soundtrack is good.

Also Romanzo Criminale
Dawn of a New Time from Battlefield 1 Johan Söderqvist · Patrik Andrén
perhaps a bit more obvious but 4 killer soundtracks
Frantic
Wild Orchid
Dirty Harry
Midnight Cowboy
so good
I remember Frank Broughton dropping the Bombay Dub Orchestra version at some little festie once and everyone going nuts
Used to listen to it on repeat. Always appeals to me when working and getting stuck into that morning coffee.
Love this soundtrack, one of my better Poundland finds lol, good film as well.
Pulled this out today. Had forgotten how good it is.
The oblivion soundtrack is good.

Unfortunately the actual album is doing one of its regular periods of not being on Spotify, but the main theme is pretty indicative.
Just skip the tacked on classical guitar tracks and the Bob Hoskins reggae track at the end of the alb (is it Balearic? No it is not)
