It’s a faff. I use an old broken plastic turntable and home made cleaner and rinse. I would go for a Watson if I could afford it. Don’t use your Technics as the fluid will end up inside.
The majority of records I buy from shops or online will have mould and dirt on, sonically it is a huge improvement. I’d say vacuum cleaning my records has been the best sonic upgrade and peace of mind to reduce dirt related wear of styli and records. Anything less than zero noise on a run in is a disapointment now.
