This one was a very nice episode. Anne-Laure is an author of a new self-help book and she’s very well read on the topic of psychology. I would say that very rarely do I find a good resource in the world of self-help, most of it is just clickbaity, but this conversation was very refreshing.

She’s basically describing the topic and the research behind her book, which can boil down to looking at all endeavours in life as small experiments that we can stop at any time, without feeling guilt.

One of the things that I found helpful is the advantage of having multiple identities, so that if one of my identities is in decline, I don’t have to feel like a failure and focus on another aspect of my life for a while. There are multiple such good bits in the episode, especially in the first part.
