But since I was also 15 in the 80’s. I’ll try to challenge myself with more recent pop gems

I stupidly gave my 12" of Get Into the Groove away to a mate’s sister - the wonderfully named Helen Back - when I was 15 and thought I was too cool for Madonna. Schoolboy error…
ugh i had forgotten that sweaty goofball was involved with this. leave it to lenny kravitz to steal a song from an ex girlfriend, steal a loop from the most popular hip hop group on the planet, and then to play coy and be all “it’s just a james brown beat, everyone steals it”.
