The Butch Le Butch Borderline edit is a ripper version - has gone down well as an end-of-nighter. Quite like these three as polished pop tracks in their original guises.

maybe not the place but IAK were interesting in a way that say Shack and Rain were, but Elbow aren’t. Were they born 40 miles too far East?

Human League played a summer thing on costa brava a few years back and didn’t look too impressed when barely 75 people turned up. They finished with this, after I’d spent 90 minutes (im)patiently waiting for ‘the things that dreams are made of’ 
They literally couldn’t wait to get off the stage at the end
