Really liked the OG when I got a sample last year but couldn’t justify forking out for a full bottle, never knew there was a dupe in existence - arrived in the post yesterday and is almost identical - thanks for the heads up!

I was tempted to put some cash aside to buy the LV but am not sure the cost justifies it. I think there’s so little difference and the dupe is extrait so on balance a better option? Anyone else tried the Alexandria version?

Yeah I’ve tried it. As Craig says, it’s virtually identical, some subtle differences but not enough to matter.
A lot of the Alexandria’s are great. The dupe of LV’s Symphony called Orchestra is something else. It’s been my summer fragrance this year. It’s a beauty. Citrus, slightly floral, and musky as hell.
The guy who runs Alexandria also runs Insider Parfums. The focus here is on long gone, discontinued, hard to get, and cost prohibitive (Henry Jacques) fragrances. The ones I’ve tried so far are spot on. A fair few Tom Ford’s that are no longer in circulation.

Just had a quick gander on the site and there are some very positive reviews from verified buyers, some suggesting that it gets very close to the LV.

My wife doesn’t work for Le Labo anymore so now I’m left to my own devices. This one looks good, will definitely be checking it out. How does it smell at the end of the day?

Sweet roses with a slight fresh leather back note (not overpowering) for me. It’s nuclear strong so bear that in mind when applying!
Love it though, absolutely beautiful. My wife has claimed it as “ours”

Hints of vanilla?
Yes, some subtle hints of vanilla in between the sweetness. It’s not too sweet though, more hibiscus floral
