i clearly remember smelling something everywhere… must’ve been '94/'95 walking through Covent Garden - CK1. Whole place reeked of it.

I still have a 2/3 full flanker of vintage Eau Sauvage—it’s a classic even if it gives off that “moneyed old man” vibe. The feminine version “Diorella” is amazing too, just a bit more jasmine. When “Sauvage” came out I hoped for a cool update but was pretty shocked how bad it was.

I remember my sister spraying me with Issye Miyake years ago maybe 94/95 just before i went out out for the night and it was a game changer , strangers male and female came up to me all night and girls in our group who would usually just give you a hug and a smile seemed to hang around a little bit longer…

That was a gamechanger indeed. Big ones for me from that era that always got reactions (and had beautiful flankers) were the Tom Ford-era ones at Gucci… I still have about half of GPH left and it smells like heavenly pencil shavings & incense.

Great selections. They both fetch a fair bit these days too.
GPH2 is another winner. Cracking tea scent with hints of Fahrenheit. Sadly, also discontinued.

A guy called Michel Almairac did the original GPH.
He now runs a house with his son (I think) called Parle Moi De Parfum, and they released a fragrance called Papyrus Oud 71. He’s also credited as the perfumer.
It’s VERY close to GPH.

This record, which is really good, came with a scent. It smells nice when you open the plastic outer sleeve and remains after seven years.

Just downloaded the Yuka App, basically scans barcodes and gives you info on additives in food and cosmetics. Great if you have allergies etc. Been trawling the house scanning like a Star Trek landing party, this was a surprise.

Just downloaded. Not doing too well atm 
. All of my fragrances are bad and most of my food cupboard is quite ‘caloric’ and rated ‘poor’. Oh dear.
Thankfully most of my records are well balanced nutritionally, and rated ‘excellent’. I shall continue buying.

Had a travel spray of the LV Imagination dupe from Alexandria so thought I’d have a spray of the OG in Selfridges. After a whole day and into the evening the difference on my arm was so minuscule it hardly registered. Ever (and I mean ever) so slight bergamot notes marginally more fruity in the original but it might have been my imagination (no pun intended)
