Oooh you smell nice!

Yeah I agree, I would say stick with the OG, it’s cheaper and more versatile.

Thanks for the input, fellas. I’ve had a 10 ml of the OG and loved it. It’s such good value too.

So I was out tonight and an old rave buddy who I haven’t seen in years stopped for a chat, she smelt amazing and within minutes of her leaving people asked what was she wearing :flushed: even the guy I was with…

It’s a beauty. I used to wear Pomegranate Noir and Wood Sage to death, and some of the colognes.

Then I fell off with Jo Malone for a bit. Got the Cypress & Grapevine, and Oud & Bergamot for Chrimbo. Both really nice!

She said you fool… what would you think I’d be wearing lol

Love the smell of Coco Mademoiselle. Chanel just oozes class. Those aldehydes!

Concur that Chanel is class. The Les Exclusifs line (and to a lesser extent the Eaux line) are incredible. Sadly the prices have skyrocketed over the last few years but the flankers are huge. I wear Cuir de Russie (soft leather & iris, pure luxury), Sycomore (incredible dark vetiver), and the Cologne (simply the best cologne ever made). My wife has Coco and it smells fab on her…

Two more from the current rotation. Mojave Ghost always gets a compliment.

Being asthmatic can’t get with aftershave/ cologne.
Never really understood the appeal- Probably scarred for life by hai karate and the other dad scents of the 70’s

oh, My… that is a real blast from the past.
I lusted after one of these for some time before finally stumping up the cash. I vaguely recall it was an astronomical £99 - which was a fortune in the mid-80’s. And part of the allure was that it was housed in a pewter (?) flacon. The fragrance was gorgeous, I was hooked.
May still have the container somewhere…

Just looking at that picture again makes me remember the smell!

Been on the lookout for a new scent all fall but haven’t been able to make up my mind. Wanted something fresh and different to me. Tried and tried both at shops and 2ml testers but got bored. A couple of weeks ago i was introduced to Wienerblut an Austrian perfumery that have quite a few really nice scents. Tried a couple and in the end went for Unheimlich which is the most complex scent i ever smelled. Don’t know what to compare it to and the way it changes over the day is just something else. Haven’t read the whole thread but don’t think it’s been mentioned.

Sounds great. Heard of them but never sampled.

Mark Buxton was the perfumer for Unheimlich. He’s done quite a few for Comme Des Garçons.
