Another friend was in town and he brought out a few things from Xyrena - another I had never heard of. The packaging is really something, the bottles are housed in VHS cases and themed after films. The tomato one below was incredible, perhaps not something I would wear, but it was an astounding 3D-like scent of tomato leaf and earth - extraordinary.

The cynic in me wouldn’t be surprised if Aesop started releasing even more intense / extrait strength versions of their fragrances at a higher price, and the original formulations get weaker and eventually discontinued.
