Wow, interesting exercise! Some unexpected results: apparantly ‘Paradis - Recto Verso’, a 2 LP from 2016 is my most “expensive” record on discogs  . Discogs & Speculation

The Satwa was a gift the Koola was believe it or not a flea market find. Don’t think I would part with either of them unless I absolutely was strapped for cash.

Wow nice find, that’s the dream isn’t it?
Digging thru all the tat to find a treasure like that

Even better someone else found it and sold it to me at no mark up which was BEYOND kind.

I thought it would be some Aphex twin, but I have a Frankie Knuckles remix at number 1.

I wish Thomas Bangalter would do some more Trax on da Rocks but I guess he’s moved on from that sound

The Nuyorican Soul box is worth what??? I guess it makes sense as I’m sitting here typing this and deciding in real time that I wouldn’t sell mine even for that price. Still that’s a lot of bread.

Can’t believe thats £130! I’m so out of touch with what is worth money.

Cant believe the blind 12” is worth so much. There must have been so many of them pressed. It was everywhere at one point

Used to have both Trax On Da Rocks, sold them for peanuts when i was brassic, still got Stardust on Roule though.

Does it still go for dollar? Thought it had dropped? Like yours my cover is all over the place and bizarrely I have 2 copies of one of the discs so some poor mate only has 3 of the 4. Never been able to find out who it was

I bought all of Roulé at HMV, I was 17 at the time. The London HMV stores had pretty good stock. Think they went for £4.99 each.

Yeah same here, the big HMV at the top of Market St in Manchester (there was a smaller HMV at the bottom end that i used to buy Madchester era stuff from when i was about 14) was where i got my Roule & DP stuff, the buyer there used to be a guy who DJ’d at along running Breaks night over near the University, forget the name now & they had some good stock.
Used to see Howard from Take That buying there when he was a DJ lol

I once ended up in a club where Howard from Take That played, on the same bill with Norman Jay. You can guess what the music was like. Big breakdowns with lots of vocals, and a remix of Usher.

Lol, i never checked out what he was buying but i had a feeling it wasn’t Underground Resistance!
