Modded or mid-price rotary mixers

It offends me so much with the digital display and I do not like AlphaTheta as a company…but I can’t lie, i really want to give it a hoon.

I know this is going to be approaching the price of the most expensive, top-tier, boutique mixers, but there’s probably going to be local stock which is better than sending a huge amount of money overseas and hoping for the best.

Hope it’s not their usual Fisher Price build quality for that sort of money!

The dark teak detail is exemplary.
Would need a bowl though as it doesn’t come with an isolator

Nice for them to have kept it totally analog. Finally they’re listening.

Once saw Harvey work his magic on one of these, i’ll never forget it.
Harvey is the owner of the local greasy spoon, Big H, his scrambled eggs are :ok_hand:

Looks like Mastersounds are calling it a day

I saw that… to concentrate on those square speakers… has anybody heard them?

After deliberating for over a year I dived into their valve MK2 last week. It sounds pretty bloody amazing to be fair. Wonder if they weren’t making enough profit. They recently had to up their prices. Good to know their customer service won’t be affected as it’s decent.
