It was called Adventures In Babysitting on release in U.K. An 80s classic no doubt. The original title is way better though.
I went to this and had a lovely chat with Robert Owens on the balcony! Edit: 32 years ago, good grief.
Fabric 10th birthday. Remember taking this on a really early iPhone to send to mates who hadn’t come in yet.
Think I lasted up until Mathew Johnson
The other thing to add is that I swear there was a bucking bronco set up in there. This was a debate at many an afters as to whether actually happened
Am I reading this right, Craig Richards playing in two rooms at the same time?
Think one is Sunday afternoon and the other is Monday morning
I went to that on a minibus over from Leeds - midweek iirc?
Yes definitely. In fact I just googled and it was a Wednesday. Ah the student life …
I know, amazing! It was a bit flat that night though from memory? I seem to remember various know-all comments about the Hacienda being overrated and “Not as good as Basics”!
Other than my encounter with Robert Owens my only other real memory is Sasha playing this first record and also playing that mix he did of Talk To Me by Hysterix. But I don’t remember it being a great night either.
Decent first record to be fair and I loved that Hysterix track
me too, still play it occasionally
Still a good record. I think @piers played it at Rotation?
I did! It was a cheeky Toby Tobias edit
