I vividly remember being handed this after Mud Club one night and feeling of utter sadness that it was going to end up folded up in order to keep it up and not surviving the rest of the night. It was beyond playable the day after.

Just noticed that, maybe Carly got swapped for Josephine at the last minute

Is there an argument Josephine isnt (classic) balearic as a Rampling discovery? ( Is that correct)

Frankie Knuckles (not confirmed)

Love these kind of line-ups, before all the sub-genres and pigeonholing took over. 1990 probably the peak for this.

All about the Mighty Pulse.

Average age of this line up must be pushing 60.

I remember 30 years ago many of the House DJs of the day dismissing the soul scene as being full of old men playing old records to other old people. Ah, the innocence of youth…

What music do they play at these ‘Hacienda’ events and what’s the target demographic?

I’ve never been to one so not sure but I imagine a mix of old and new? Demographic - 30s upwards at a guess?!

Yeah, that bit reads like the earnest sleeve notes you used to get on Deep Heat compilations
