A very chilled mix for the Idle Cellars series

It’s been a while since I’ve read the name “Porn Sword Tobacco”. Looks like a good mix, will check it out

Slo-mo sub 95bpm sounds intriguing to me, probably the mix will go well with work.

So many DJs in here, I will definitely have a good look in this topic to pick some mixes to listen to.

BTW here’s my latest mix. It’s in the style of downtempo, balearic, new age…

I’ve opened a thread about the radio show, if you want to find more have a look in here

Ditto, thought was items found under a students bed, but who knows.

Enjoyed listening to this Erik. Nice mix.

It’s funny, I’ve got lots of those tunes but they often sound better in someone else’s mix. Like when you pull out records at a friends and they say “what’s this?!” and it’s a b-side on a record they’ve had for ages and never played. It’s good to refresh your memory and rediscover new/old things.

I’ve found that a lot too, usually happens just after I’ve sold the record in question.

One of the reasons I find it so hard to let go of records, but it’s not quite so bad in these days of streaming and you tube.

The number of times I’ve heard something and thought that sounds good I’ve got that somewhere, spend ages looking through various cupboards of lesser played vinyl, only to finally realise that yes, I did sell it or give it away.

… and then of course you have to buy it back again!

a mix I did for a friend a few years ago as a promo that as usual didn’t go anywhere, electro, Italo, new wave, new beat: Stream Belfast Road Studios by franni | Listen online for free on SoundCloud

thanks for the kind words!

this happens to me all the time too… i went through a few periods where i tried to trim down my record collection (for a variety of reasons) but i usually regret it years later when i hear them in a different context.

life has ultimately taught me to hoard records at all costs.

Looks like a great tracklist to me too. Will save for Sunday dinner listening. Too busy with kids until then.

I think the last time i looked, that Serotonin Sermon goes for £50+ or something like that. Not selling mine though, it’s great.

Yeah, hadn’t given it an airing in a while. Still sounds great.

The forthcoming Coyote edits are also amazing - the Kate Bush one in particular. Can imagine that one taking a few heads off :slightly_smiling_face:
