Curses mix of this Daniel Monaco track has some nice New Order-esque guitar lines in it.

Early Studio. Love the baggy vibes on this Lissvik classic.

Great debut album, still play it now and then :fist:

I’ve been enjoying A Forest off this cover album. It’s a reimagined version of the classic Cure album Seventeen Seconds. In Your House and Three also very good.

I reckon further investigation of Night School back catalogue might unearth more indie dance gems. Those Amor tracks a while ago were great.

Not quite the classic baggy/indie dance vibes but indie and danceable anyway.

Didn’t realise this had been used in BB til I went looking for a YT link

Nice! Something else by the same chap, on another great little Montréal label, warrants a mention here:

Yes, we’re back to the electronics, but more on a slo-mo feel that for me is in a sweet spot that tickles my very early 90s lowlands (NL techno at 33/-8, as much as “let’s not call it new beat, but spiritually in that ballpark” BE) throwback fancy. If the Spinmasters had been microdosing ket and playing in a secret Boccaccio room in Konspiracy. Or something.
