Met Jesse Jackson when I worked for the Labour Party, I think around 2010. I think he was quite shocked how threadbare the organisation was at the time. He told us we would win the election. He was wrong.

I met him in Dallas in 1995 - I had a wacky uncle who was a Ross Perot acolyte and we went to Perot’s convention which was attended by politicians of all stripes, all trying to get to Perot’s voters. As a 13-year old kid I was starstruck, he oozed charisma.

Yeah he definitely had it. Edit/ a former colleague reminds me I met him again in 2015 and he told us the same duff prediction

Aww thats sad. His interview where he talks about fx and mastering is really really good. He did a lot of brilliant work.
