I insisted on having mitered corners and no screws or nails, i don’t know if it was a smart idea, but it on the bright side it was some nerve wracking glueing.

They’re basically following the Wayne Parnham 4 pi speaker design with some aesthetic changes. So they run a JBL2226 woofer and a B&C de250 CD.

Bit of a long shot, but has anyone shipped a reel to reel? A friend of a friend is jonesing for an Otari that’s for sale here in Finland. He lives in Italy.
Any tips on how to go about packaging something like that? Any couriers provide packaging services or do I need to take care of that?

How big is the Otari? Italy isn’t the best to ship to from what I can remember, I can ask friends on this.

Had an online shop for 10 years and had to stop sending stuff to Italy, post is shockingly bad, as is DHL etc. Guess you can’t be good at everything…

No issues with the neighbours. Finished up at 630 this morning. What an absolute joy that system was to play on. Mindblowing clarity! The guy whose system.it was picked them up in LA for $800!
Now that is a touch!
