Not been digging much and fell behind sharing on here. Last haul of mostly OK reggae for £2 each from a box that has been lugged around record fairs for some time. I’ve also been going through dealer stock of mint disco and house that is around half retail. Big batch of standard but mint disco came through last week for a quid a go including Modjo “Lady”, you may have heard this one…I’ve been as far north as Nottingham.
It’s been so dry compared to glory days of gold a few months back. Here is a pic one location of ex tidy tip contents, next nothing of TP note to report back, apart from thousands of mouldy easy listening LP’s.
Reassuring to see the Mrs Brown’s Boys boxset front and centre, don’t think i’ve been in a charity shop in the last few years without clocking at least one lurking there gathering dust.
That really made me laugh! I was waiting for the plane banner too.
I’ll take more pictures next time. TBH I feel a bit dirty sometimes, these are pretty minging places. There was a time when the tip was the place to hang out, now the contents get decanted into ‘reuse’ centres. The ‘gold’ has been absorbed prior to getting to these huge facilties, unless you are a Mrs Brown’s Boys collector, I guess.
