Wow, I hope he was good!
The guy behind it, Clarence Reid, was actually a prolific writer/producer/arranger in the 60 & 70s incl some early KC & The Sunshine Band and mot famously writing Clean Up Woman.

had a really good haul today, mostly early 90âs techno, fair few early axis and downwards records, original return of drexciya, an early function ep and pure science sunset ep as well as some other more tech house stuff (I definitely wonât be keeping all of it!). all very well looked after
26 records for ÂŁ20! i was pretty happy with that!
i know most of thatâs a bit on the heavier side, but still, some top finds!
at a Boot or Charity?
Good finds
Vauxhall market, its the veg and flower market durong the week, and a cross between a flea market and a normal market at the weekend. Its great, ive gotten loads of good stuff there over the years, one of my favs was the DiY warp 2x pack with that nail cassiopia track years ago for ÂŁ1. - but often just come away frlm it with no records, maybe just a good smoked mackeral and some bin bags.
win win then
Especialy if you get a good smoked mackeral and some bin bags & some UR 12s cheap
Thereâs a rasta who has been there 25+yrs with a stall selling handmade soaps & herbal creams who has other herbs, ridiculously cheap, if you give him a wink
Theres a lot of deep characters for sure.
Ive bought shea butter off that guy before, he scooped it out of a large gourd into a plastic bag, really good stuff!
thats him ![]()
The ghost of Lost keeps delivering to believers!
Great haul - the Ron and Roland is a doozy too -
I had a major haul again this weekend. Lots of modern classical from the same guy I got the previous LPs from. ÂŁ2 each.

hell of a haul!
great finds!
El tren fantasma is a great album.
These hauls are crazy, will this golden period ever peak?
Hadnât heard the 12, thatâs amazing. Havenât listened to the album in ages, think I will be going in again tonight.
Love that Philip Glass album, very different feel from most of his other work with much shorter tracks.
Freezing is an interesting one, featuring David Byrne and Bernard Fowler of The Peech Boys.
Visited the newest addition to Kernows vinyl shops, Vinyl Imports in Newquay.
Quality shop, can see it will get better as it grows. Had some quality Detroit house/techno but I opted for some bargain bin beauts (wanted that Windjammer for years) and a really nice copy of Ashraâs Blackouts-for a very reasonable price.
Go check it when youâre in the area!
Decent library record in a 3 for ÂŁ1 box, along with Kid Creole âWonderful Thing Babyâ and Imagination Body Talk LP which i didnât really need but why not.
