Red Zone mix on the Caron Wheeler? One of my favourites.
It was house enough for the house crew & hardecoreish enough for hardcore crew
Probably thge reason it nevers gets props is not house enough for old house crew & not hardcore enough for old hardcore crew
Sadly not. I’ve always got an eye out for the US pressing with all the dubs
Everything shown for £27 total with Daz at marked at £10, great disco funk though. There are some duplicate stuff that is not shown that has come up in ‘hauls’ before.
Some are water damaged on the sleeve, not a concern. True Faith is the Poundland of Acapellas in dance music, shame, ruined now.

Very average car boot haul from this morning, some fairly nice finds but also picked up a few duds, including a Joni Mitchell LP which is probably in the worst condition I’ve ever seen a record - serves me right for buying without checking it, even if it was a seller I buy from often. Went straight in the bin, hence why not listed…

I LOVED Love Missile F1-11 when it was released!
Flip of Talking Heads is great also, not seen it mentioned on TP before. Even this 12 isn’t a easy find now on the cheap,
I was introduced to aquaintance from way back trading at the bootsale. She is something really special and a date is planned, so good luck to us…4.99 out of 5 on discogs.
Early TOTP memory!
CJ Mack mix of The DOC, still my favourite hip-house tune
Doing it together forever with Dre …
Love this, I’m still getting over the extended mix Roland Rat and you chuck this in.
Took a trip to Uptown Records in Spalding today, had never been before but it’s apparently the UK’s biggest independent record store (according to their own website) and presumably the only record store which is in the middle of a garden centre, which intrigued me enough to make the 3 hour round trip…
Turned out to be worthwhile for this incredible Balearic Soca RnB House (???) 12” alone which cost me £3.

Had my eyes on that along with visit to the seaside maybe…
Is there anything left now? Edit not meaning to be salty, apologies
It looks huge in there
It’s definitely worth a visit, if truth be told I wasn’t really in the mood for it when I got there - there was a room full of house/techno 12s that I didn’t even look at, a fairly big jazz section that I sort of half flicked through before I left, and I also left behind some nice disco 12s because I was trying to watch the bank balance.
Prices are a bit all over the place, and there’s a lot of shite to sift through, but there’s definitely some more gems to be found.
Ok, Thanks for that. That is a solid once in a lifetime find there, it is pretty tough some days. I find ‘the dance’ with crazy shop owners to wear me down considerably.
I’ll spend a full day there asap.
Had to pick through and play through a few at an alternative bootsale, my associate went to the dangerous one where he found nowt bar a Tomato plant. This from a batch of damp records and a lot of bad/dirty condition, tough pickings. A few more duplicates from earlier trips not listed.
Bruce Gilbert is a rabbit hole I have not gone down before, very odd.
Roy Ayers without a sleeve and Naughty By Nature looks uncared for, it’s not easy going today so left it at that.
