My local guy is 60+ yrs old and still gets the old school Thai/african/moroccan of our youth. Not sure why I’m messing around with HHC edibles then but never mind.

I spent a decade wholesaling organic veg, so know a few ancient hippies.
One always has a choice of 4 or 5 Moroccan/Lebanese options and considers it his civic duty to sell at least one of them at 90s prices.
Only trouble is I’m now a 120 mile round trip away.

I just smoke it neat in a Silver Palm Leaf. Only need a few small balls. Half ounce last me about 6 months…

Used to love a smoke but really stopped a long time ago when it seemed impossible to find anything other than strong weed. I loved hash. Never liked the trippy element, always the mellow relaxing buzz. Any edibles that give you that nicely stoned feeling without being totally mashed up?

Delta 8 gummies can certainly give you a nice relaxed feeling however they can be a little trippy too! Depends on how much you take, when, whether on an empty stomach or not, bodyweight etc etc.
All the stuff we never used to even think about when rolling a J full of black Hash

I find the Delta 8 & 9 to be a nice mellow buzz. A mate of mine described the feeling as “taking the edge of off life” which is pretty accurate.

Skunk started to drive me mad about 15yrs ago and pretty much stopped smoking (after being a daily smoker for 20 odd years). Delighted to have a proper old school connection again now and as you say it’s a pleasure to just get mellow, especially when playing music.
Looking forward to seeing my guy this weekend and finding out what delights he has.

Definitely the introduction of Hydro weed that changed everything for the worse IMO. I used to like brick weed, was a nice mellow happy buzz. Skunk onwards it was fucking extreme, more like tripping most of the time 
(Side note from Someone Who Isn’t Me: My mate was bringing bin bags full of Skunk back from a connection in Wales, he was the first person in Milton Keynes doing it for sure in about ‘92 early’ 93. I was 23 and working for the local Water Authority, brilliant brilliant job in Summer, driving around Beds/Bucks/Herts/Northants taking water samples. I’d roll a big J when I got my jobs in the morning and make it last for the day.
A guy I worked with asked me one morning if I could get him any weed. I told him I could, only it was Skunk and it was a tenner more than regular weed. This guy was around 42 at the time, a real caner. Used to wear fucking sunglasses in the office at 7:30AM, eyes like a pair of cherries in a glass of milk
Anyway, he had an Henry and a couple of days later he came into the office, sat down next to me and whispered “That shit is fucking wild, I’ve never been as stoned in 20+ years of smoking”
Within a month he was growing it himself in black bins in his garage )

We used to get Red Leb, Red Seal, Thai Sticks, Squidgy Black, Jamaican Brick with lots of seeds and once a Temple ball (allegedly) now that was great. Hash Oil was the strongest thing we ever had, wiped it on a skin and rest was history.
All pre-skunk, first ‘named’ variety I can remember was Northern Lights as far as fresh flower goes.

Same guy as above used to bring Charas back from Goa, just personal. Smelled like shit if you get my drift. He gave me a gram once. First time I tried it I had some in a single skin joint, smoked about half of it and spent the next three hours just sitting listening to the clock, totally wiped out, totally away… it was next level that stuff…
