Just in case Paul has already left…
Shall we have a forum sweepstake for how long it takes someone on the Beeb to say “That was a real Glastonbury moment!”?
Billy Nomates getting so much abuse online she is going to chuck it in. What is wrong with people?
Working Mens Club taking po faced intensity to great levels currently. Good set tho.
Hopefully that doesn’t count as online abuse
The only thing I thought was interesting in lasts Beeb coverage was Gabriels. Never heard of them before, that front man has quite the voice.
I say it every year but I wish they would feature some of the other stuff happening around the site, and not just the main stages.
Have to say, I quite enjoyed the Rick Astley set. He doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously and some nice interaction with the crowd.
Artic Monkeys on the other hand do absolutely nothing for me
Not planning on watching or listening to any of it this year, I just find the whole BBC obsessive, overkill coverage of it a bit nauseating and smug tbh, 6 music been there since Weds ffs.
I would much rather watch a Rick Astley set than an AM set though lol.
Tinariwen were absolutely fantastic. Such a great band.
“Glasto”
Can Jonny Marr just join any band he wants on stage?
Wagner Group guitarist
Loyle Carner doing good stuff.
Waiting for Christine And The Queens, to see if it matches the intensity of watching them perform at Meltdown last weekend.
Barrington Levy doing a good set
Class ending too, ‘are they going to turn my mic off?’
Will the guy in the crowd Crying during Candle in the wind become a meme…
on the plus side, the crowd carrying Lewis Capaldi through his song “Someone You Loved” while visibly affected by his Tourette’s tics was a joy to watch
Extinction rebellion are apparently blocking the road out
I’ve never heard of her and just watched her perform Deathwish, which I enjoyed a lot. Was she too arty and there was a needless pile on?
