Judging by the amount of folk down here on Hollibobs in Cornwall we’ll be in lockdown again in no time…
That’s what I’m thinking…
Weirdly just read that via Twitter.
Interesting piece.
I’m certainly prone to being easily distracted. Definitely languishing atm. Haven’t had any interest in music for the past month, which is most unlike me. Need to get my mojo back.
Yeah same. Sort of happened last week when I’ve been pretty gung ho about life. Right who has the answer to light the fire again. I’m currently doing thirty days of yoga with Adrienne to try and get back into that… It is starting to help.
I’ve started fast walking/slow jogging. I think shedding the 17lbs I’ve piled on in the past 12 months will help. Mainly because I’m a vain bastard…
Heheh. Good work @howler. I don’t drink so I think that saves me a lot of weight tbh…
Ooh is that online?, no decent Yogis down here, been looking for something online.
Think I got it terminal…
YouTube
Coolio thx
Don’t be afraid to go dumb/simple. For a while it was YouTube and comic books. I put screens away two hours before bed. I don’t over caffeinate. I exercise every day.
I have a formula/mantra. It’s a little corny and embarrassing but it has helped. I even made bookmarks and bedside reminders:
Today I will hug two of my best friends and we will sit in a room without fear of getting each other sick. Every moment like this heals and sustains me and keeps me pushing forward.
Am I the only person who finds yoga aload of pants
Thanks @MGG that has been an interesting read.
The tension it describes between languishing and flow explains much of how I’ve felt the last 12 months.
“Honestly - I’m languishing” could just be game changing. So important to know that you aren’t alone in your feelings; and to have an elegant way to name it makes all the difference.
After I inadvertently clicked on some Russian lady doing Yoga in tights searching for Adrianne I would have to concur… nsfw
I found a good teacher who spares the spiritual rap and just makes it about stretching and core strength.
Friend of mine did the 30 days with Adrienne and thought it was brilliant. It really helped him out.
