A weird experience watching that game. We didn’t deserve to get anything from tonight, let alone win the league, but there was no disappointment at all. Hearts, or any team outwith us and Celtic, winning the league would be the best thing to happen to Scottish football and would hopefully have the knock on effect changing mindsets. And… the best football has not been played by any of the 3 in the title fight. That award goes to Motherwell who have transformed from being hammer throwers to a Cruyff-esque, very un-Scottish, exemplar of the Beautiful Game.
Both teams going at each other in the return leg at Bayern. Amazing start. PSG ahead after 3 minutes. Could be another cracker the way they’re both playing.
It was Matt Le Tissier in a hedge ![]()
A lot of saints fans wearing binoculars in the away end at boro today! ![]()
Is this real footage? Amazing if it is. How top level football has changed.
Some of the comments on that ffs, George Best was sh1t apparently ![]()
It’s not so much he’s shit, he’s just not as good when compared to a modern footballer like Phil Foden is he? (or Keith Gillespie if you want a blast from the past)
Keith Gillespie ![]()
The whole spygate thing is absolutely mental, the lad seems to have been the worlds worst spy
As an impartial Spurs fan, I think the only correct thing to do here is cancel the playoff final… and only promote (and relegate) two teams this season [cough].
I think it’ll end up being some sort of fine tbh
Celtic v Hearts looks set to be a cracker. Effectively a title play off
Shame about that pen in the last Celtic game, seems inevitable they will win it again but i hope not
I really hope they do it but after what happened the other night I doubt it
I’m a Celtic fan, so probably very much in the minority of folk who wants to see the Jambos heartbroken this weekend. Preferably by 3 clear goals so the ‘controversial’ penalty becomes moot.
That said. I certainly wont be angry if Hearts get their fairytale ending.
Ich bin ein ‘Tic fan too. Agree with you 100% there too.
I’m hoping for Celtic to go out and completely rout them and the greeting face Hearts manager McInnes to be in tears by the end.
