I’m a very unhappy England fan tonight.
England so poor. What was the game plan? Southgate clueless and cautious. Poor substitutions and the players were way off the pace throughout the game. Partly owing to Scotland outperforming expectations but I think if England really believe they’re a strong team they have to take control of a game like that. And on that basis it was a miserable failure all round. Very disappointing.

Was really surprised by England. Just looked devoid of ideas. Can only think of the header off the post and the shot saved from outside the box

The worrying thing is they were poor virtually all game yet Southgate & the players didn’t know what to do to change it for the better.
After the usual hype, same old, same old…

That’s it exactly.
Pickford’s save was actually England’s defining moment in the end. It was a game Scotland will feel disappointed not to have nicked one nil.

Poor from England but have to say Scotland played great. I still believe Southgate is the man to lead us to a trophy. Lessons we’re learnt and we now go to the Czechs to top the group. Bring on France, Portugal or Germany for that kick and confidence boost we need. Fail we may, sail we must.

I must say that was a very pleasing performance tonight. After Monday I feared the worst but thought we were well worth a draw and could have won on another day. Not a poor performance from Scotland but Gilmour looks like a potentially world class player. Bring on the Croats.

Gilmour has the potential to be as good as he wants. First saw him play for Rangers Under 20’s when he was 15. He was levels above the rest then.
Utterly dreadful from England.
No way we are winning this. I cant see us beating the Czechs on that display.

We need more urgency and direct football, not this passing side to side and backwards style.
