I reckon there’s a big endorsement from Pep in all of this.
It’s fascinating. I’ve often wondered how a Pep/Jose etc would fare at the likes of Burnley with zero funds and lower quality players.
We now will see the reverse as Kompany applies his approach and tactics to better players.
Tbf, Alonso was relegated with Sociedad B before joining Leverkeusen.

Believe that Liam Rosenior (recently sacked by Hull) was the first choice, but turned it down. Rooney does feel a bit desperate.

Leeds were terrible today, they’ve had a really bad 2 months.
Must be odd going into a job knowing you were 8th/9th choice.
Have an eight-week-old baby and need easy viewing while rocking him late at night.
Currently working through old football matches - this one being a cracker.
Especially good when the result isn’t shown in the thumbnail or description.
