just going through some old stuff (like always) and i just ran into this one - sara jay.

i think the first time i heard her was on this. pretty great for that era, i played it a lot.

she’s sang on a lot of really good stuff. i don’t know that i’d call her underrated, maybe just underutilized. Sara Jay Discography | Discogs

since i’m thinking about white ladies who sang perfectly over house tracks of yore, what about dani siciliano? the same crate that held the sara jay track on miso held the weird clear vinyl martinez mix of this:

(not to take anything away from shingai shoniwa on this record, but dani got to sing the chorus which is the one that tugs at the heartstrings)

(also, i love the original video, it’s really clever - them dancing in the lil’ room - but iK7’s upload sounds like ass so nope)

and really, hey how good is this? pretty much perfection i’d say.
