So good. I think Ambient 4: On Land is such a masterpiece as well.

Deepchordā€™s side on this was new to me until recently. This is a variation on his sound, without any drums.

Some fine ambient selections up above :point_up_2:t3:. An old trusted favourite - Brian Enoā€™s Apollo. Another shout for Hiroshi Yoshimura - Green. Iā€™ve recently got into Ernest Hoodā€™s - Neighbourhoods (sounds of small town America kind of like KLF Chill Out in some ways. Another firm favourite is Virginia Astleyā€™s ā€Žā€“ From Gardens Where We Feel Secure on Rough Trade.

anything from Lawrence English on the label Room40

Iā€™m glad someone else recommended this-itā€™s such a good album and has become one of my favourite records to chill out.

Thereā€™s also a recent tape inspired by the original you might look out for. Various artists, working with environmental records and electronics.

Iā€™m after that DK one but the prices have gone crazy!
Some more from last year I forgot about:
LF58 - Alterazione
Imaginary Softwoods - Annual Flowers in Color
Ocean Moon - Crystal Harmonics

Yeh silly prices, Iā€™m still after a copy

Some other ones worth checking just incase no ones heard them, both have been out for a while

Huerco s - For Those Of You Who Have Never
Terekke - Improvisational Loops

Yoshihiro Sawasaki - Perfumed Garden. Gorgeous ambient techno recently reissued. Modern Obscure Music did a 12" release which is lovely but the 2CD Japanese reissue is a feast.

Meiteiā€™s three albums are pretty special.

Pastoral field recording type tunes with surface noise, hiss, electronic flourishes, and a touch of modern wizardry.

If you like Susumu Yokota - Sakura, youā€™ll like these.

Beautiful stuff.

My favourite album is Komachi.
