Listening now, already hovering over purchase button :ok_hand:

Been eyeing both the Ana Roxanne and Gigi Masin but haven’t picked them up yet. Too much good music. I did pick up the Oto No Wa and really loved it. I think there’s a similarly themed Japanese electronic compilation coming from Light In The Attic this year.

One of the vocalists is cleo sol who’s debut album is well worth a listen, especially the title track “rose in the dark”. Took me a while to purchase on vinyl owing to the excessive price, nicely packaged but would have preferred a lower price with traditional packaging.

Albumsi by Bufiman was hard to top.

Thanks for the heads up, looking forward to it! I enjoyed their kankyo ongaku from 2018, bit experimental here and there but great artwork.

Never a bad time for SCOTT.

Klaus Schønning - Lydglimt
Ana Roxanne - Because Of A Flower Completely amazing as many of you have already mentioned.
Tadao Sawai, Kazue Sawai, Takeshi Inomata, Norio Maeda, Hozan Yamamoto - Jazz Rock 琴 / 日本の民謡
Ocean Moon - Crystal Harmonics The masterful Jon Tye!
DJ Metatron - Loops Of Infinity (A Rave Loveletter)
Meitei / 冥丁* - Komachi Like an update of Susumu Yokota’s Sakura.
Wanderwelle - A State Of Decrepitude Beautifully funereal sounds, great for walking and very prescient, on bone coloured vinyl to boot.
Roméo Poirier - Hotel Nota Lie down with your eyes shut with this on and be taken away on an underwater adventure.
Four Tet - Sixteen Oceans
Gigi - Illuminated Audio Slight cheat as it’s a repress of a repress, but it did help me through lockdown one massively.
Seahawks - Island Visions Mr Tye again!
Various - Retour Au Club Meduse
Koyil - Healing Cycles
Imaginary Softwoods - Annual Flowers in Color
Various - Virtual Dreams (Ambient Explorations In The House & Techno Age, 1993-1997) I generally buy all of Music From Memory’s compilations as they are windows into mostly unknown musical worlds for me. This one was different, it immediately took me back to being 19 and completely immersed in this type of music, it felt like the future then, and still does now.

I thought a massively underrated LP was Vibration Black Finger’s Can you see what I’m trying to say on Jazzman - Spiritual Jazz, Soul 2 Soul type vibes and library grooves all in the mix and barely picked up by anyone (tho I heard Bill Brewster play a track on one of his shows recently…)
