Lord Of The Isles - Whities 029 (it’s only an EP but this one is phenomenal. it touches on themes of climate change through its ambient / deep house sounds + two amazing pieces of poetry in the last two tracks)
Gia Margaret - Mia Gargaret (really nice rock ambient album)
System Olympia - Delta of Venus (sexy synth / boogie / electro jams)

Also throws up the question, can you call a 5 tracker an LP?

I don’t make the rules, I just break them.

I thought 2020 was a great year for albums/ lp. Actually think I bought more lps than 12’s.

Shinichi atobe - yes (a bit housier than his previous albums, but still has that dubby/ basic channel vibe to it)

Moodymann - taken away

Linkwood & Greg foat lp (this is just simply stunning from beginning to end

Roisin murphy - roisin machine

Oooooooh, not seen it, ta

Just bought the Raymond Richards on his bandcamp page after reading the replies on this thread. They had me at “ambient pedal steel”. Now hopefully I can reach for something besides KLF Chill Out when I want some ambient pedal steel action.

Thanks for the Linkwood and Foat recommendation. Only discovered Greg Foat after his Lady Blackbird remix and hadn’t got round to Linkwood and Foat, loving it. This forum is paying off already
