Sonic Boom - All Things Being Equal

Apart from the SAULT album I didn’t seem to listen to much new music last year… something I’m trying to be better at this year. I discovered a lot of older stuff I’d not heard before… I also had a real male crooner vibe going on with Scott Walker, Lee Hazelwood and The Numero Group’s wayfaring stranger series. Really wading through that loneliness vibe haha!

In no particular order and as a snapshot I was loving these;

FSQ - Reprise Tonight
Sault - Untitled (Rise)
HMD - Love & Dancing
Theo Parrish - Wuddaji (eye watering price for the vinyl though, again!)

Roza Terenzi - Stylish Tantrum while technically an EP I think it has the scale and ambition of an album

Slightly off topic, but what does anyone know about SAULT apart from the producer is Inflo?

Nice! Would definitely recommend the Eddie Chacon album if you haven’t already heard it - John Carroll Kirby was the producer

Raymond Richards - Lost Art Of Wandering - seems to be featuring highly, but such a good record
Dream_E - Dreams On 22 - the Burrell Connection doing downtempo ambient techno
Soft Power - Brink Of Extinction
Web - The Sound There
Craven Faults - Erratics & Unconformities

Also, only just getting into this and not even sure if it came out tail end of last year, but the Laura Groves EP on Bella Union is sublime :star:
