Yeah I know. I hate it when facts get in the way of a good story!
Charles Wright was his uncle according to some sources.
I thought he was his dad too until just now.
Even his obituary in The Independent got that one wrong!
Gat Decor’s name is an anagram of Tag Records.

‘Nothing!’ Don’t know why but that made me piss myself. I fucking love MB, Toast is up there with the best of the best.
He’s just got one of them voices that I could listen to all day. I’d listen to him reading the back of a cereal packet.
One of my favourites, Aubrey Plaza too.
Loved that. Might rewatch this weekend
You and he were…mmmm buddies weren’t you.
This has blown my tiny mind. For anyone that doesn’t know Piccadilly 261 was the local independent radio station in Mcr in the 80’s
Watched this over the weekend and loved it. Wonderfully surreal and laughed throughout. Thanks for the tip.
One of those that slipped through my radar till a mate recommended, big Aubrey fan.
“My first big recipe was shark repellant that I mixed in a bathtub for the Navy, for the men who might get caught in the water.”
Before she mastered the art of French cooking, Julia Child cooked up shark repellent while working for the precursor to the CIA as a covert operative during World War II. Sharks kept unintentionally setting off underwater explosives meant for German U-boats — until Child came up with an inventive recipe that saved the day.
MDMA is known as Ecstasy because when Michael Clegg (early dealer/Texas group) brought a sample to Bob McMillen, an ex-marijuana dealer he wanted to help him distribute it at scale, they listened to the album “Ecstasy “ by Deuter as they were coming up. Clegg had originally wanted to call the drug “Therapy” to market it. McMillen came up with name “Ecstasy “ as a (much better) alternative and sold so much, so quickly, using that name, that it stuck.
I mean, “Therapy”, ffs.
Got any T’s
Imagine in Energy Flash, the vocal going “Therapy, therapy”
