Doggy style - let's talk dogs

Lol I had a very patient ex girlfriend who was happy sitting in some of the finest record shops from London - Paris - NYC for hours sometimes, loved Dance Trax and the guys at Thump in NYC and this one shop in Paris where you would get a small beer or glass of wine and could sit outside watching the world go by…

Crazy price for a pooch, guess he has good genes and his tackle.
Find it so weird what were once mongrels now command higher prices than regular pedigree pooches.
He does look cute tho.

Any TP mutts struggling with the heat? Our Gloria doesn’t know what to make of it, but it’s definitely suppressed her usual energy.

My black lab used to do that all the time in his later years. Mostly due to being a bit overweight and very lazy rather than the heat. He was a big lump too and I did have to carry him home a few times :joy:

He would flat out refuse to walk, I would carry him home raging, yet as soon as he heard the fridge door open, he was like a whippet :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

You’ll be laughing until certain records start going missing.

I did pilfer a lot or my dads stuff to be fair

A great dog they are for sure, my friends brought home a kelpie pitbull mix when they moved back here and you should see her run and jump. Beautiful dog. Looks like this slim with big ears

French bull dogs, Bostons, pugs etc particularly struggle with the heat. It must be their short noses and having to breathe more frantically. They also never know when to stop. I can take mine for a big walk, he gets back is absolutely exhausted and collapses, 2 minutes later he is out in the garden with one of my daughter’s chasing a football about.

Saying that my French bull dog loves the sun. As soon as I let him out in the morning he is out there sun bathing for an hour. He is all white though which helps. Amazes me how long he can lie in the midday sun the mad dog (pardon the pun)

Otto hates it. Lots of dragging himself around the house then flopping down with dissatisfied sighing. Having to do early walks and thankfully there’s a great spot by the river for cooling down

On a scale of 1 to 10 how stupid is your dog today? We have lived in the house we have now for 4 years and we have a door in the kitchen which leads to the garden and also patio doors which are fully open today as they are on all nice days. I have just found Bowie sitting at the closed back door waiting to come in whilst the patio doors are fully open. I have no idea how long he has been there for. Today he is a 9

My dog struggles with patio doors. If they’re open and you call her from outside, she runs and then stops at the open doors

Here she is. Baffled :joy:

Haha that’s amazing. Bowie is usually ok with them. Must be having an off day. Too much sun bathing.
