A simple google search shows lots of Rampling apparently sans tatoos in the Shoom peroid. This is the cover image of Journeys By A DJ mix CD which is my first introduction to Rampling as a wet behind the ears acid house enthusiast. I remember the fashion of that time being long sleeve t shirts. I used to hang out in Afflecks Palace in Manchester on Saturdays and it was wall to wall Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, and Stone Roses longe sleeve t shirts. He went on to host the Lovegroove Dance Party on Radio 1 and I sincerely doubt the Beeb would have hired an NF tattoo supporter. Not defending Rampling at all, the truth is way less black and white than internet crackpots have us believe and some of his choices are extremely questionable. See also Ian Brown, once a figure head of the acid house movement and now a strong vaccine denier. That whole situation, likely Brexit dragged out so many differening and polarising views and unfortunately showed up many of our hero’s to be on the opposite side of the fence

I don’t know if he’s ex NF or not but working for the BBC is no automatic measure of good character, many a wrong 'un has worked for them.
