Yeah I’ve noticed. Was the same when I was there a few years back.

I’m between sizes (M & L). I usually have to size up. Damn these broad shoulders.

Bought some Rapanui plain white ones recently - pretty happy with them, £25 for pack of three.

Make sure you get the Cotton Uniqlo ones & not the dry material
It looks brand new for ages but weird fabric

They look to be going out of stock on the Cotton ones ( Marl Grey out of stick in M - I had one in basket)

These are the best plain tees around in my opinion, I haven’t bought anything other than these for ages. Nice heavyweight cotton that retains the colour and shape really well. Got a couple of them from 4 years ago that I still wear regularly, incredible value really.

I’m also picky with my sizing (I prefer an XL to XXL length but need a regular L width) and find that an XL in these fit me perfectly.

How are the sizing on these please?

Depending on the fit I veer from upper M to lower L but usually L in most brands seems to fit ok.

I’m upper S/lower M normally, I went S for these t shirts and they’re fine for me. Not baggy but not super snug, hang well.

Always found these to be the best basic tees going, i’ve 3 still going strong from 10 years ago:

With an honourable shout out to these not far behind:

Pricey and taking care of them can be a pain in the arse but well worth it.

These both look great in fairness, and a similar collar on them to the Uniqlo ones I like. Will keep in mind in case Uniqlo ever get rid.

A hybrid of the 2 would be the perfect tee!

The McCoy’s is a tubular knit but the collar on the 3sixteen is overstitched & promises not to sag over time (and it really doesnt).

You got me thinking (reminiscing) with that Rockport comment….

I remember going to Flannels in St Annes Sq with my brother (when Flannels was a proper shop) for him to buy a pair. This was in 1991-2ish and they were £145 even back then.

Aesthetically, at the time, they were a decent looking boot, well made & an alternative to Timberland.

Then the brand went into one of the biggest free falls ever seen.

Have a look at Armor Lux for tshirts - their heritage tees are usually around £40. Lovely double stitched/ribbed collar that keeps its shape

I saw some in biege on ebay last week for about £18 which is a bargain.

Yup same for me, sweatshirts are great but the t-shirts let them down.

Seen as though I live by the sea, I thought I should go for the full salty sea dog look. Liking the Slicker jacket, but alas, sold out.

The best tee I own. They do them a few times a year:

Got one of their chore jackets. I wasn’t all that impressed with it… fit is a bit weird

They are a good boot, just remember they were the Quad uniform when I went early 91. Nobody in Sheffield ever wore them (it was basically a few in JPG / Destroy & everyone else in no brands)

I would have guessed Aspecto as the stockists!! ( when it was good)

Very similar to Arket. I like the full transparency of costs etc.

High GSM and loopback. My favourite sweatshirt by Arket from a few years ago is the same pretty much

Have a selection of Armor Lux tees (blue and olive) in local TK Maxx (Bromley). Very few sizes online but S up to XL in store yesterday.
