Nice one, didn’t know they’ve expanded into all that. I used to shop at Kristina loads when living in London over 10 years ago. Can’t think of a better being than Brian (not Brian) to pull stuff off the shelves for someone who was just getting into it all.
Yeah he was always very chatty and helpful with suggestions when he worked in phonica
…also Rivet and Hide
Great shop. The staff in the one up here are brilliant.
Need some new headgear now the cold is starting to bite. Any recommends? Beanie/trawler/deck hat kinda style. Love these Heimdalls though
Bought a couple of handmade wool beanies from Baileys Bespoke on Etsy. They fit my bald bonce a treat (couldn’t load the link for some reason).
Not a favourite brand-wise, but I’ve been impressed with the quality and how well they maintain their shape. I’ve approached winters with a “2 of these YMC beanies” strategy for the past 5 years. On my third beanie atm.
Yeah like that. Big Bill Murray in The Life Aquatic vibe
Just picked up one of these BNWT for £180.
Nothing groundbreaking for Post but it’s lined and that beautiful stitching on the cuffs made me buy it ![]()
£10k Namamica Denim Goretex anyone?
That’s utterly ridiculous.
I noticed this the other day, not quite a bad price wise but still extortionate for what is it.
My best find ever was a Timberland parka in TK Maxx, reduced from £700 to £70. It’s still going. But it’s still not £700 worth of parka.
Was quite disappointed in Paris last week. Everyone was pretty much selling Carthartt and the like for triple what I’d pay over here but near Starcow there was an excellent store https://bleudepaname.com/
Really well-made pieces.
I really like canvas and moleskin pants for this time of year. Here are my favourites.
Mollusk best surf shop out there for ever, not been in a while though.
These were new to me. Quite chuffed they were under $100 as well.
A great brand, truly consistent and unwavering in their output.
Just picked up a nice plaid shirt for next to nothing.
The nerd within wants the latest Sukimono and PO book.
They did a lot of garments with A Bathing Ape in the early days when Nigo was still at the helm.
My favourite label.
I know EG gets all the hype, but for me Post is the one.
The range of different / unusual fabrics they’ve used over the years is incredible.
Some proper bargains to be had on their website in the sales section.
