Sadly I think that boat has already sailed for me, except maybe at a festival.
Jesus. Maharishi snow pants with a big fuck off dragon up the leg. I wanted a pair of them so badly when I was 17. They were over £100 which was footballer money for me.
Would still love a pair of the non-embroidered ones.
I keep dipping in and out of this thread and going down big clobber rabbit holes… I have a out a bloody huge wish list together… Damn you all!!!
Hoxton fin will set them off nicely…
Currently obsessed with Portugese Flannel shirting, Thunders Love Socks, albam sweats and Millican Backpacks.
Window shopping at The Bureau Belfast online is a current favourite pass time.
The Bureau is the best clothes shop about by a mile for me. Them and Kafka. Not everything they do is for me, but chances are if they stock it I’ll love it.
Work with a guy who’s pally with the lads in there and there’s some serious music knowledge knocking about in there too.
shout for Never Never https://never-never.com/
from two of the fine lads that work in the Bureau on a bit more of a streetwear tip.
nice blog and mix series too https://now.never-never.com/
Have to agree @Spencer, such a wonderfully refined collection of clobber and footwear. Much like yourself though, not everything they stock is for me but I completely appreciate and love everything they present in the shop.
Good to know their taste extends into music aswell, so often the case eh???
Yup and me too!
Nice @mark_tsr
Will have a dig through
Shouts out also for https://www.sonofastag.com/ for probably the best denim range, certainly in London
https://rivetandhide.com/ which closely mirrors Green in Black
https://thegreat-divide.com/ which usually has a decent sale
Also, me old mucker, Simon Porter, who used to run the original Foot Patrol and Stüssy stores in London, and now runs https://bornstore.co.uk/ on the south coast
Long time sponsor of here Oi Polloi needs a shout too. Steve up there really knows his onions and is top at turning up a new brand… I like how they shoot stuff.
Seconded.
Feel like it lost its way a bit a couple of years ago and just didn’t seem to be getting the variety of stock they used to get, but seems to be getting back to its old self.
Steve used to cut my hair downstairs in the Tibb St shop.
Can anyone remember the mesh upper french shoes they used to stock? Think they were for playing pétanque or something. Never had an item of clothing since that got so many questions from people asking what they were.
Yeah I get the same feeling. They feel well back and on it. Ones to watch as we move into summer. Steve’s a don.
GORDINIS!!! Yes.
Look at them!
He had his dog down in the basement too.
Socks, recommends please, I love a soft cotton feel…
Not cheap, but if you buy a pair in the sales, birthday and Christmas you can soon get a nice collection going, generous size for European feet unlike some of the others, Chup I’m looking at you… not the thinnest, but super comfy… I bloody love 'em.
I’ll second that. They’re great.
