I love Holubars jackets, which colour did you go for? I wanted a new parka last year and the Holubar Deer Hunter topped my list, it is expensive so I wanted to check a couple of things and emailed them and they never responded! So Battenwear got my money instead as they did respond. Its the little things that matter. Still look at the Deer Hunter in orange from time wondering if it would have made me a happier man deep down ha.
It’s blue that is just about black. I was tempted by red but got told not to as I’m too old
I’m of the thought the older you get the better the bright colours look. Saying that I also bought my Battenwear Parka in navy blue. I might get some red chinos though to impress @howler
Where did you get these from?
It arrived and I’m chuffed.
Any recs for some decent undies?
Mine are getting a little threadbare.
Sunspel if you don’t mind shelling out £45 on a pair
Muji that’s all
These are decent. Very comfy. Good old M & S
Anybody recommend some decent boots that you can where with jeans & a tee, or smarten up a bit for the office, other than red wings? I like red wings and am looking, but can’t seem to find much different (got a couple of pairs of brogue boots I’m going to get refurb’d).
Interesting though not sure I can remortgage for another 18 months
Some decent sale prices on Grenson site. They are really well made gear, beautiful leather.

I rarely buy boots or shoes but tend to buy yogi and astorflex when I do so deffo worth having a look at their range.
I really liked the recent denim jacket they did but I already have a very dark blue vintage Levis trucker that I barely ever wear, so couldn’t really justify
The tiger print was nice too. Again, I already have a Carharrt tiger print shacket, so didn’t get one.
I do like their stuff though. Maybe if they do a nice Bleu de Travaille again

Wandered into this vintage shop last weekend, amazing curated collection of workwear & military surplus
It looks like someone’s having a go at bringing Vision Street Wear back. It’s resurfaced a couple of times to my knowledge; once via Opening Ceremony and the an endorsement by Chloë Sevigny and more recently I believe Sports Direct bought the UK license and created some dire product. I loved it as a sk8 kid in the late 80s, but appreciate in the eyes of my missus it might no be ‘age appropriate’ - still though…
